2010 Smith Mountain Lake Triathlon

How I spent my Saturday:




and eating a lot of veggie burgers.

Finished a perfect 100 out of all the women and under 2 hours (and didn’t drown during the swimming part!!!)–met my goal!

    Weeeeee! Love it. I’ve run road races, but never done a tri…well, not yet. I hate swimming, but I like the idea of trying all three.

    you kick so much ass, Jes! wahooooooooooo! oh man, that rocks so hard! this makes me want to look into a triathlon – although i don’t know how well i’d do with the biking part. ah ha ha! i’m not the most coordinated person ever. congrats on meeting your goal – you look like you had the most awesome time!

    i’d also like to say that dan and i will be trying your bourbon-banana-pecan waffles soon (and i too adore buckweat flour), and i looooove your sweet potato salad with chili dressing. they both look amazing – especially the waffles. superyums!

    Great job on the race! I would have done it but it’s on the opposite side of the state. I just did the Kinetic Half at Lake Anna last weekend though! And you waffle recipes looks awesome!
